London, England We’re in a hotel where we’ve stayed several times. I got my hair cut around the corner where they still have me in their system. And we had great fish and chips at our favorite corner pub. That was yesterday, when we were still recovering from being airlifted across the Atlantic.
Today was a welcome day of recovery and relaxation. We spent it with old (in the sense of long-term!) friends at their lovely home, where we were spoiled with a great meal, a proper tea and lots of catching up.
What a luxury to feel so comfortable here, and to have great friends to explain the remaining things that still confuse and mystify us about England…
Those fish and chips look amazing. Love getting my haircut in out of country locations also, #2 can’t mess it up!
