London, England It’s our last full day in London, and — just as it was when we arrived last Monday — it’s gloomy and rainy.
But that did not deter Don from a trip to the British Library and the British Museum.
With more mundane objectives in mind, I headed off to Covent Garden.
It’s Christmas here, regardless of the calendar, and Covent Garden is a good place to enjoy some retail therapy. I cannot divulge the nature of my purchases in a public forum, but let’s just say it was a successful visit in a festive — and roofed — market.
Our last evening will be a celebratory dinner with our friends, thus ending this very welcome London interlude. What a nice way this was to start bringing 2022 to a close!
